my dad says it was pretty worse back then... like people whacking the glass off their cars when they see the school's sticker! lol! and yeah! always a LOT of tension after games that even "good" people get into brawls! :D lol! :D

wala. there are jokes (like, why the sudden change of color), but they are not treated differently

I agree - some people really do take it seriously. I don't really see why the two schools should even be fighting with each other, but I guess that's something I'll never find out. *shrugs*

But then again, the next UAAP games are coming up. Maybe I'll discover there? XD

I do hear it gets really intense...

actually she really wanted to get into ADMU. kaya lang gusto ng parents niya na dlsu-dasma kasi malapit sa bahay nila sa cavite. kaya aun.... blankstare

ah well. i don't think our friendship would be destroyed just because of our school's rivalry. ^_^

Is it true? My cousin always watches uaap tapos sabi niya if admu vs. la salle game daw, ateneans are praying and stuff tapos nangbabato daw ng piso yung mga taga la salle...

the blair to my serena is studying at csb, she said that they call atenistas chickens instead of eagles

personally i don't care much about school rivalries. i don't see what the big deal is anyway. different schools, so what? we're all students, doesn't really matter which school is deemed "better". we're here to learn not to compete.

funny story: my sister's bf took me to dlsu for the entrance exam, and he walked into the territory in his admu shirt. the moment i saw him, i said, "nice shirt" and he was all "oh man, i forgot confuse

a lot of my batchmates are now in la salle and from what i gather when we talk, they have this thing at their orientation (called LPEP) about spirit building. para daw kako sa UAAP eh malakas ang sigaw nila. they were even required to wear GREEN shirts to LPEP.

it's a competition, both in a healthy and an unhealthy sense. pero at the end of the day (minus the hardcore fans), it's all gooood. :)

hahaha... jz curious though!!! when did this rivalry even started???? i dont really hate people from la salle... i jz dnt lyk the color green... heheh... and thinking about it, an archer could always hit an eagle with an arrow... ryt??? hehehe... i remember during the JGSOM Orientation, i think it was during MGT-H orientation, i jz forgot the name of the instructor, he said he was once a faculty from la salle for about 10 years plus but he chose to be a faculty in ateneo because its better dw!!! hahaha

Maraming former Lasalista (from elementary or high school) sa Ateneo. More than you think there are. Haha. Including myself! :D Let's just say, your past doesn't matter much in college. You won't be judged solely on your high school, so no pressure. :) Surprisingly, Lasalistas and Atenistas (from high school) get along pretty well.

Most of my friends, like, 5 of them, are now studying in DLSU... It feels like they don't acknowledge my existence anymore haha. One time there was this discussion they had on Multiply about riding a jeepney to DLSU, and I commented on it many times but my friend replied to EACH and EVERY comment except mine. I thought it was rude. I felt so left out :(

yabang e, but that's the point...school, espexally college, prepares us for whats out there...kahit saan prestihiyosong unibersidad ka pumasok kung after college wala ka na, dba?...it really depends on the person..

rivalries??..well, that existed pa talaga..d naman maiiwasan...wag na lang patulan ang galit na kabila (i'm pertaining to the Ateneo OR La Salle, just to clarify), talo lang naman cla e...haha...but dont misunderstand me...

e2 pa cnabi sa akin ng isang friend...

no offense sa mga matatamaan a...

mas mayaman daw naman talaga ang mga lasallista keysa atenista,

ang mga lasalista ang MAY-ARI ng isang kompanya,

pero ang mga atenista ang NAGPAPATAKBO nito...

heard that there really WAS some feud. but it's been blown out of proportion as the years pass, and I think it pretty much gets vented into the UAAP. but I'm not sure where exactly did it come from.
