i am currently pre enlisted with subjects like MA 1 and EN 10 and there are no units credited for it. Does it mean i cannot run for DL due to 9 units i only have? what are the advantages and disadvantages of having low units. thnx.
Disadvantages = Summer in order to catch up on those taking regular classes. Well, if you pass the EN 10 Diagnostic Test, you could move on to EN 11. The EN 10 prof would have to tell you when to approach the English Department Head to find out your new block.
Not sure with MA 1 though, but I'm guessing it's the same.
I'm not sure if there is a diagnostic test for English which could possibly make you transfer to Regular English, but during my freshman year there was certainly a Math diagnostic test which should determine whether you will be placed in Basic or Regular Math. And yes, I believe you cannot run for DL at the moment granted you are lacking in your units. You will have to make up for those subjects in the summer semester assuming that you are still in the basic level thereafter. Hope that helped.

EN 10 Diagnostic Test was balls; the essay in particular. I had a hard time there, since it's about something I don't care about. I couldn't even bola properly. :P
