Sorry if ever may ganito ng thread =))

Tanong ko lang, since magdo-dorm ako, kailangan kong magnakaw ng mga damit dito sa bahay :)) And I'm not sure which type of stuff to bring kasi sayang naman pagod ko kung dadalin ko di ko naman pala masu-suot, haha =)) Anu-ano ba yung pwede? Like for skirts, how long (if they're allowed haha) or sth :p I've seen DLSU's dress code somewhere, and pareho lang ba sya sa ADMU?

Thanks guys! And sorry kung ang labo ko =))

To quote Auricachan who replied to this question in the John Gokongwei School of Management Thread [that was just buried somewhere there haha]:

"Hi!  Yes, the JGSOM strictly follows a dress code.  That means no sleeveless, no short shorts, no gym wear, and no slippers.

As for the three-finger rule, I think that applies to sleeveless shirts.

Please do try to observe the SOM dress code.  Failure to do so, and your teacher will send you out of the classroom, and you might be marked absent.  Although some teachers are lenient, Dean Ang sometimes roams around the classrooms and checks the dress code , and he might be the one to send you out of the room.

What to expect?  Since you're a freshie pa, you'll be having subjects such as Math, English, Lit, NatSci, PE.  For the second sem, you'll be taking up Calculus.

Hope that helps!  :)"

As to how short can the shorts/skirts be, if you put your arms down at your side, there should still be clothing at the tip of your fingers.

The dress code does not only apply to SOM students but some places like Rizal Lib, SOM and Xavier Hall [correct me if I'm wrong :))] also follow the dress code.

And I think there's not haircut rule since I just saw someone with dreadlocks the other day :))

P.S. The three-finger rule means that the sleeves to your tops should be at least uh.. three fingers ... thick? HAHAHA I dunno. Basta walang spagetti straps! =))
