Hi everyone! :D coco here! :D AB POL Sci... who else are taking the same course? :D
Anyway, back to the topic... I was just wondering - what specific subject choices do we actually have? I learned from others that we had a pick between science courses like Physics, Chem, and Environmental Science... but what about for the PE courses? :D Any ideas? Just worried we'd have to go through extreme sports (I'm not that athletic). Hoping to have dance or track&field!!! :D *fingers crossed!*
Umm, I know there are "milder" PE courses to choose from, just not so sure as to what the choices are exactly. We'll find out. I'm hoping to get into a not-very-athletic course too! :P
you have aisis accounts right? you could check it under the class schedule section. choose any term that is a sem, then choose the physical education dept. you could see the list of PE there and have an idea on the time slot. But it might change since the PE dept does not have a final list of classes.
thanks for all the responses... especially to "GEIST" for the complete list! :D lol! im definitely taking ballroom dance or yoga! :D see you guys there! :D
for your choice of those subjects, your RANDOM NUMBERS are just what will dictate you. :"> you may love or hate your RNs but ultimately, they will determine your PE. :) freshman 1st sem, I really wanted to take Swimming but my RN was ****in 789 or sumthn like that. So, I ended up in volleyball. It turned out to be really FUN, though. :) Advice: Dont ever take Martial Arts. MADUGO! Grabe! Hahaha. :) Especially taekwondo.
you have. but it depends on what is left (for pe), and what is assigned to your block (for natsci). The later your batch is in enlisting, the smaller the chance you will have a popular pe.
PEs for active people: basketball futsal (mind though that one of the profs do the training in the soccer field not in the covcourts where it is supposed to) running self defense (judo, taekwondo, muaythai) weight training (men) swimming volleyball
PE for that not so active ;p yoga table tennis (actually depends on the prof) taichi physical fitness (women) badminton (?)
** i dont know where to classify the dances
Nat Sci Easiest: Environmental Science and Chem (sometimes) Hardest: Depends on you and on the prof. haha.
Hey guys! I got this from the Loyola Schools website: http://ls.ateneo.edu/system.php?LS=staticpages&id=1215153698475
See you in OrSem!!! I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!!!

oh no0o0o0o! i'm totally not much of a swing/boogie person! maybe tango's okay... but we did these dances the whole year round during my senior year! :[ i was hoping we'd have latin ballroom, as in cha-cha,rumba and jive! :[
I took these PE subjects before: Intermediate HipHop/Modern Jazz(it's not offered anymore, too bad) Taekwondo Volleyball Dancesport(Ballroom under Ms. Belinda)
I have to say that my favorite was ballroom. haha. Ms. Belinda used to be the champion in Dancesport during the 2005 SEAgames. Super galing nya magturo and super difficult ng steps. :P
i took futsal, basketball, tabble tennis and tai chi.
nakalagay sa registration "soccer" yun course pero futsal lang nilaro namin buong sem :( although last sem nakita ko mga nagpe-PE nasa field na...kakainggit!
there were a lot of slots on basketball, regular enlistment na nga ako tapos last batch pa pero yun na lang natira sa akin.
table tennis was my favorite! personally di ako napapagod at pinagpapawisan di tulad ng first 2 PE courses ko na puro drills. competitive fun! pwede pa kahit anong shorts at shoes gamitin kaya extra shirt na lang binabaon ko. :))
tai chi was nice. stretching and stuff. pero boring siya halfway.
swerte naman ako sa Natsci. ES with Favis at Botany with Lagunzad! two of the best teachers i've had so far. kung sa registration available ang class nila para sa inyo, piliin agad! :))
