Marketing un diba? hindi ba walang course na marketing in Ateneo? so.. parang mas interesting kasi u'll learn stuff that's not being taught in your course..

you could also try Blue Symphony. they were newly established just last year and, for an unaccredited org, they're pretty active.

I heard AJMA's a great org.
Sabi nung friend ko AJMA is the largest org in ateneo. i googled it and i found this...

The Ateneo Junior Marketing Association is the Ateneo de Manila University's premiere organization with the biggest pool of talents (largest Membership base last year) and the most innovative projects (14 exciting events)! Despite being a relatively young organization in the Ateneo, AJMA's accomplishments are truly remarkable! It has successfully secured its place in the college scene, having been recognized by the Philippine Marketing Association as one of the Three Outstanding Student Marketing Asociations of the Phillippines (TOSMA) besting 60 other schools for 3 consecutive years. It is also the first and only business organization in the Ateneo to receive the Dean's Awards for Service and Excellence (VP's Awards). We are also proud to add that AJMA has won the Best Student Marketing Association in the Philippines award two years in a row from the Agora Youth Awards. Our tradition of excellence spans a melange of well-attended and institutional events.

Blue Symphony? As in like an orchestra? I play the violin & the piano po kasi. And I also love theater kaya gsto ko rin sana ng Blue Rep, my mentor in theater when I was still in HS encouraged me to join :)

yep! an orchestra! they're just new though, only established last year. And for an unaccredited org, they're pretty active with their practices and they perform during mass in the Gesu. i also vaguely remember them appearing in a morning news show.

a couple of my friends were the ones who established the org.

Ateneo Management Association and Ateneo Junior Marketing Association are good orgs to start out with. It'll give you a taste of what it takes to be a management student.

However, you don't always have to take an org that's related to your course, so I can't really say what the best org is for you.

Hindi ako nag-AJMA, so hindi ko alam. Ang alam ko lang, marami silang inoorganize na party! Haha. And, yes. You can join any org no matter what course you're in, as far as I know.

AJMA has lots of activities-- seminars, talks, programs, and a lot of others. Our most prestigious event is the Ateneo Intercollegiate Marketing Seminar (for the top 50 marketing students of up ateneo dlsu ust uanp), and the Shindig which is  a really really well-promoted party. Check our multiply last year! You'll see all the pictures from our events. :)

parang gsto ko rin.. cguro kng may time pa ako. :P or pede kaya maging irregular contributor nlng ako d2, as in nde ako regular na kailangan magsulat ng article, kng kailan ko lng matripan hahaha... when i was in HS i was just an irregular contributor sa school paper (both english & filipino) :D

ako medyo na-trauma in joining orgs...long story in HS e..

well, for me, i learned my lesson..NOT to focus much on these extra-curricular activities..

pero, on the bright side, i learned many things you may not learn in the classrom...and they also might bring the leader out of u..

for me, i'm sure with ACHES since im a chem major..my other one, pag-iisipan ko pa...

pwede rin ang Guidon,..especially for those who have experienced campus journalism in high school..

ajma? very diverse yan bro/sis! magandang org yan! maging active ka lang dyan, at makakakilala ka ng napakaraming NAPAKAOKAY na tao:P sinabi ni boombax 'yan, kaya sureball swak yan!

yuhh.. mostly marketing ang ajma. and it's a good place to start marketing, especially na walang course na mktg talaga sa ateneo! fun pa, kaya join na :D

yupyup pwede! classified ang meco as business org kasi, so open to everyone na interested sa investment :)

ang ilang "home org" na alam ko na for course lang nila is acomm (ab comm), mea (bs me) and psyche (ab/bs psych). :)
