Maraming internet cafe sa Katipunan. Some places also offer console gaming.

Blueskies has PS3 units dedicated for Rock Band. You pay for each instrument you reserve and a fee for every hour you play. They used to charge around P150 an hour + complete instruments, i think, but now they've gone and upped their prices. You might have to spend as much as P350 an hour now. Smells like cigarette smoke, sweat, and paint. But you'll get used to it.

FriiSpirit for Wii gaming -- quite pricey but it's got membership benefits, a good atmosphere, nice staff, and BEAN BAGS! They have Guitar Hero: World Tour if you're more into that than Rock Band.

XBX Interactive -- this one's pretty new. A bit expensive as well because they really spend a lot on their units and equipment. Friendly staff.

Nothing beats Minesweeper.

Is anyone here using content filters in games? It's a bit awkward to use them, especially when the characters speak formally and enemies don't spill blood in most war games. It will look like this:

The voice acting will be awesome...more voice work than the entire season of sopranos...bioware is the dev, bioware is a very good company: they made neverwinter, massefect, kotor, etc...

Cant wait for TOR...actually this summer ko lng tinapos kotor 1 and 2...im impressed...haha love a good rpg...and sawangsawa na ako sa World of Warcraft...need a new mmo

Hmm, Batista really looks like Marcus Fenix. I'm more concerned about his acting skills, though.

Whatever, if the developers make a fast-paced adrenaline rush flick, impressive acting is not needed. I wonder who will play as Augustus "The Cole Train" Cole, Damon Baird, and Dominic Santiago.

As a side note, I was surprised that the Locust Queen is not, as Cole puts it, "butt-ugly". She is a good-looking humanoid queen, if you ask me. She even knows Marcus' dad...

I'm also currently playing Eternal Sonata and saving up for Valkyria Chronicles. Wala pa kasi gaanong RPGs sa PS3 :))

my mom gave away our PS2 before i could finish Persona 4 :(

But I'm disappointed the Kojima is making another MGS rather than ZOE3... :(

Valkyria Chronicles i finished it during the summer...go play it...now!...
It actually made me cry...very good game..mastepiece...

Kojima is known for MGS...yes MGS 4 made me cry too... (cant help it games nowadays can do that you know!)...im not really fan of ZoE hehe

I personally have my eye on the chainsaw :))

Legendia was decent! :)) too short though but the characters were really likable. and it also had the best music i've heard in a Tales game

This is from the 2007 game Crysis, at ultra-high settings. Crytek stated that Crysis 2 will be more realistic than this. Well I think they're insane.

Im not that acquainted with VP...since we are talking bout square enix games, do you play dragon quest? its the only series thats more famous in japan than final fantasy...lol...japanese...

me too.. i never really got interested in VP...Silmeria was also quite disappointing for me.

I've also been disappointed with Final Fantasies since FFX-2...FFX was borderline okay for me at best. i'm not really expecting much from XIII but versus XII intrigues me. And with the PS3 having so few RPGs, i'm open to whatever Square has to offer. hahaha

I've also tried a few DQ games but i never got attached.

XIII looks cool,(my impressions from the trailers anywei), well X was my first FF so its kinda memorable for me...after i finished it i then played VII, VIII, IX, etc...Square is kinda declining dont you think? sure they have lotsa good games, but they keep releasing average to below average games for the past years...hope 13 might save them

Silmeria really was disappointing. But you should really try Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. It's one of the best games I've ever played, and challenging, too! You'll be surprised of how good it is. :)

Speaking of Square Enix, I like these games from them:

Kingdom Hearts I and II
Star Ocean: Second Story/Second Evolution
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
Radiata Stories
Dirge of Cerberus (I surprisingly like it!)

KH series was also one of the best...at first i was skeptical...disney and final fantasy? together? wth? but then i played it, then i loved it...star ocean 4 was the only star ocean i played, it was okay...chrono trigger and cross were also cool, though i like trigger more...

Oh yeah, at @Rain: I disagree. I think Square Enix has their share of bad and good games. Take Star Ocean, for example. I really enjoyed it, and Persona 4, which have received generally positive reviews. Dawn of Mana, sucked though. Ugh, I hate that game.

Yeah, Suikoden 4 sucked big time. I hated the warships so much. The characters were bland as well.

I played at least half of III. Wouldn't call it the best, though, I think II and I are still better. V is at par with III. :)) Well, that's my opinion.

The original Valkyrie Profile was one of my all-time favorite RPG's on the PSX. Was too lazy to get Ending A, though. Lame, I know.

Final Fantasy: Tactics rin, isa pang all-time PSX favorite. I was always a sucker for FFV's job system, so when Tactics came out... you know the rest.

Chrono Trigger! Damn. I love RPG's, but I'm too obsessive-compulsive for my own good. I never got all the endings.

SW: KotoR. I lent it to my classmate in high school, never got it back. Sigh.

What about eccentric games? You know, like... Incredible Crisis. Or... PEPSI MAN!!!

medyo complicated maglaro ng PSX games sa PSP. you need to convert the cd image to an Eboot. or you could download something already converted if you could find one. then there's also the problem of compatibility. certain psx games work better on certain firmwares...you'll need a popsloader.

may PSP version ang FFT pero mas gusto ko yun PSX version. iniba nila script at sfx tapos dinagdagan ng rendered cutscenes. something about the sfx throws me off XD

Xenogears is my all time favorite game!! :)) i'm playing it right now for the nth time! i'm currently feeding drive drugs to my chu chu hahaha
