The World Ends With You was too fun, really short though. Yes! A Suikoden fan, or at least someone who's played it! I haven't seen the trailer but I saw the pictures and what the story's about, I'm so excited. They have"I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and "Day Tripper." And, the instruments are so awesome!!!!

medyo complicated maglaro ng PSX games sa PSP. you need to convert the cd image to an Eboot. or you could download something already converted if you could find one. then there's also the problem of compatibility. certain psx games work better on certain firmwares...you'll need a popsloader.
may PSP version ang FFT pero mas gusto ko yun PSX version. iniba nila script at sfx tapos dinagdagan ng rendered cutscenes. something about the sfx throws me off XD

Totally. All of those are noobs compared to the Beatles.

Have you heard about the new controllers for the PS3 and the XBox360? They're supposed to be like the Wii's motion controllers, except the 360's supposedly "can track players' full body movements, recognize their faces and voices, scan images of real items and respond to both physical and vocal commands." The PS3's sucks though, it still has an Eye camera.

THOUSAND ARMS! Someone else has actually played it! That game's a winner, didn't finish it though because the CD was busted, but still, it was fun while it lasted.

OMG! YAAAY! I've been searching for people who have played that game! Too bad you weren't able to finish it. It was just fantastic! I like Wyna the best, too bad she kind of ended up with the other macho guy. :)) The dates were fun!

They were. It's just funny that there's a game where they mixed blacksmithing and playboy antics, and that the main guy can actually go on dates. People should play that game, it's so much fun.

I hate it though when you're entire party's petrified or some sort of status like that, it's an automatic game over.

Yeah, I know what you mean about the petrify thing. :/ If there's one thing that I would change about the game, it would be that you get to choose which girl you're going to end up with. I didn't like Sodina that much. :(

Has anybody played Final Fantasy 9? That's my most favorite game in the psx. I think it was better than FF7. :)

beatmania IIDX (the 7-key version) is awesome. I miss playing it in the arcades. It sucks I don't go to Rockwell too often, and that I never go to SM Fairview.

I play some games, but not that many since my mom doesn't want me to buy a gaming console (except for a GBA) and I don't have DSL as of this moment.

We're pretty rare here. I tell you, I sometimes get so attached to the games to the point that I care about the characters and researching more about the story. Of all those, my favorite has got to be the Halo lore. There are so many things about that Xbox game that many people don't know.

You will notice that the humans are the Reclaimers, destined to be the heir of the Forerunners, the "gods" the Covenant worshiped. With a mistranslation, the Covenant thought the Sacred Relics (especially the Halo rings) to be the path to their salvation, only to find out that these are constructs designed to stop the Flood infestation. The High Prophets also learned about the true nature of the reclaimers, and started the mass genocide that is the Human-Covenant war.

I also learned that the SPARTAN program was carefully planned out by the UNSC to breed the best supersoldiers from select people, one being John-117, aka the Master Chief. He was also the first to be issued the MJOLNIR Mk IV armor, with sheilds reverse-engineered from Covenant technology like those used by the Elites (Sangheili).

Do you know that the UNSC barely wins in ship-to-ship combat against the Covenant? Even Shiva nuclear warheads are nothing against the active shielding of Covenant Cruisers, while the human ships using Titanium-A alloy are easily decimated by plasma fire.

Hmm fps nowadays do have good stories...especially gears of war for me, even though it wasnt that fleshed out much...halo too, but not a fan of the story, just the multiplayer action even though im not that good :D

Well, regarding gaming, yahh i admit sometimes i get attached too much to the point of researching everything (especially RPGs, its like reading a book only better, ask me anything about Final fantasy lore...) but not that much, i try to balance it with social life too :) In that case i don't consider myself a "hardcore" gamer...i think the proper term ill call myself is Gaming Enthusiast...kinda like a mix of casual and hardcore... :D

hehe yeah i've noticed that too and i noticed that the games you mentioned that are popular in our country are mostly multiplayer centered games which are easily found in many comp shops and in my opinion are a little bit more fun and accesible than playing that awesome and graphically beautiful game on single player or campaign mode all day.alone.

so that basically explains the popularity of such games although they're not as stunning and compelling as hardcore pc games.haha

American and European gamers actually do the opposite; they always hail games with great graphics (Crysis, the source of all graphics-related debates) and epic storylines (they still think MGS and Half-Life have the best stories) with the exception of WoW and Warhammer: Online.

Snake is never replaced...he still is the main character... although in mgs2 u played a different character: raiden, snake still stands out as the main hero.

In MGS3 u played Big Boss, the original series' villain and solid snake's "father" in his first adventure, Sort of a prequel, but still he still looks and sounds like snake ( no wonder), MGS4 is the last in the series (i dont wnna spoil too much, but if u followed snake's journey all the way you'll love this), so i dont expect an MGS5 (trust me MGS4 ended nicely anything more and theyll ruin an already magnificent series)

But in future spinoff titles like the recently announced Metal Gear: Rising was it? Raiden will be the main character...

I'm more of a nintendo person because of the Zelda and Smash Brothers series but I have the playstation and playstation2. Based on my trend of buying video game consoles, I'm due to get a ps3 soon.

I'd play anything as long as I have the console to do so. I'm not to big on PC games since, frankly, my computer sucks.
