I noticed that everyone's schedules have EN 11 and LIT 13 while mine has EN 10. What exactly is EN 10? I've been told that it's the easier English class, and it's only got 0 units. Is it true?
So I hear EN 10 is Basic English, and if I pass its diagnostic test, I go to Regular English. If so, will I be promoted right away, or it takes some time?

Don't worry! It's very normal. From what I heard, EN10 is all about grammar and proper language use and the profs will also give you 'reading' time during the week (they'll let you bring your own books to read during that time.) En11 is more of writing feature articles and stuff. It's paired with Lit13. Yung En10, walang Lit.
Yung downside lang nga, 0 units siya since it's basic (like basic math). And you will need to catch up with your regular english blockmates, so you'll need to take an additional class over the summer with your Lit14 (probably Fil14). You'll get to take En12 during your 1st sem in your sophomore year because the class is research paper making.
hope this helps
