Getting Lost
Permalink

Hi to all!

So, with the start of the new school year, I'm sure many people have mixed feelings about the first day of classes. Some are raring to go on a new adventure, while others are getting nervous and intimidated.

Well, I'm actually looking forward to my new school year in ADMU, but I'm not that kind of guy who knows my way around a large campus. Can you guys help me out? I am extremely unfamiliar with the various places in Ateneo (I'm sure many others are too) and I don't like running around in circles and asking people numerous times. So, I need help on giving me at least the names of the buildings where my classes are located, so I (along with others having similar schedules) won't get lost.

CAD - Sectgion B, CTC - 219
Math - Section B, SEC-A 215A
English/Fiction -Section R54, K-202
Ateneo Culture - Section RRR, BEL-307
Engineering - Section C, F-320

Others may feel free to post their concerns about getting lost and posting their schedules up for the veteran students to help out.

CTC (or PLDT CTC) - PLDT Convergent Technologies Center. It's the building between SEC C and SOM.
SEC A - Science Education Complex A. It's the left-most SEC Building amongst SEC A, B and C.
K - Kostka Hall. It's one of the buildings located near the Zen Garden.
BEL - Bellarmine Hall. It's the building far off from the main college campus. You'll have to walk there from Xavier Hall.
F - Faura Building. It's the grey building along the red brick road.

Hope this helps!

BAM! That's what I'm talking about. Thanks for the heads-up people.

@howlpanda

I would really appreciate if you posted the map, so that everyone will make use of it on the 15th.

On a side note, I see that you have a pair of headphones there. What is its model and manufacturer? I want to know. I think I'm the only one with the big types (Sennheiser HD 555)

Here are color-coded maps. :)

@jjsoviet: Its a SkullCandy HESH. Though that was before it got snapped. [I de-commend it because it only lasted me 3 months before one day, I took it off and it just snapped. = =] Now I'm sticking with SkullCandy iCon. It's the cheapest one they got and I think it's sturdier than HESH's. *sigh*

RIP my beloved. You've lived a good life. u___u

Thanks for the pictures. I'll have 'em posted somewhere for other people's reference.

To not risk derailing this thread, I'm gonna put up a headphone thread later. See you in the discussion.

If WTS means weights (is that your PE?), then the weights gym is just inside the covered courts. :)

I'm taking up Physical Fitness For Women.
Same answer? The WTS Gym I see on my sched. still pertains to the weights gym you mentioned?

Find the beauty in being lost. The best things in life are lost. Atlantis. Jesus' body. The meaning of life. Everybody should be lost. It's what makes us human and it should let you realize how aloof you want to be.

I have a question. What's the quickest way to get to Bellarmine Hall from SEC A na hindi sumasakay ng trike?

I was going to ask the same thing! On Fridays, I have BI 5 in SEC-A, immediately followed by INTACT in Bellarmine Hall. @-) Is it possible to run all the way to Bellarmine without being late for my class? Medyo magkabilang dulo yung dalawang building eh... :(

You don't really have to run. I remember there was one sem where I had PE in the CovCourts and the Spanish in Bel.

Just walk fast straight out of SEC A and through SEC Walk, out of Xavier Hall, and straight to Bel. Try not to stop and talk to whoever friend you pass by na lang. :)

Wow, thanks! A while ago, what my friends and I did.. we went out of Rizal Library then couldn't figure out where Bellarmine Hall was. So we checked the map, then went through Fr. Arrupe Road. When we finally reached Bellarmine Hall, we found ourselves right directly across Xavier Hall. XD

At least ngayon I can map it out. Thanks a bunch again!

Or you could tell your prof about your situation. They might give you a little more time allowance. :)
