well... i reckon the most memorable was that i was the one who pioneered the when-you're-late-you'll-be-sent-home policy! wahaha! that policy was implemented because of me! at di naman ako natinag! malelate pren ako hanggat gus2 ko... ambaho kc ng DO namen e!

igla ko naalala, nung 3rd yr. ako, I ran for the SC, and we were required to do something during the meeting de avance, so my friend(a girl) and I decided to sing "Someday We'll Know"... hmm
lol grabe. nung second time ng chorus, 'someday we'll know if love can move a mountain, someday we'll know...' biglang napasigaw ako ng "WWHHYYY the sky is blue!!!" Grabe the audience roared in laughter.evileye I never sang on stage since. :)) And to add insult to injury, I lost by a landslide :P

@nonfatmintlatte- Cheating is common in our school, haha. Sabi nga ng alumni nasa culture na daw namin(not proud of it). It's weird because the teachers actually know we're doing it but they don't care. Especially in Chinese class. Once the teacher turns her back on us, we spring into action. haha... I'll change in college, of course :)

-- Edited by AlPerez on Thursday 11th of June 2009 02:01:20 AM

@AlPerez - i ran for student council once as auditor... the other year i was just a member of the student council but i didnt run, so the next year i decided to run against my classmate who was a super cutie, super pretty, crush ng bayan who's a member of the soccer varsity pa plus kalookalike pa ni Kirsten Dunst (tough competition right?) anyway... the day of the miting de avance i was first to say my speech, gosh, i really did my best out there i guess, i really pointed out what i wanted to do for our school, then here comes my rival, saying only a few small things & winning the crowd with her looks & charm. haha, in fairness, ako tuloy ung mas nahirapan kesa sa kanya. she won, of course :P i never ran for student council again after that. kasi gnagawa nilang POPULARITY CONTEST kahit sabihin nting mas mdmeng sincere peeps out there willing to lend a hand to their fellow students.. and to top it all off, majority of my school's population are BOYS, so nde na nakapagtataka kng bakit cya ang nanalo. siya na nga ang may mas mahabang hair kesa sakin. :P

NOTE : Hindi ako bitter sa kanya. :) Jst sharing my student council experience.. :D

@nonfatmintlatte - Wow, whole batch! Haha. Ung amin sa madalas rin mangyari sa class during quizzes tsaka before magpasa ng HW (madalas ako yung nakokopyahan pa, ang bait bait ko kasi :P)  ung pinakamajor cheating, ONCE lang tlga nangyari. A few of my friends cheated during our final exam using their phones, puro kasi sila unli sa globe. And to think na puro sila HONOR STUDENTS like me. they even invited me to join in, but were utterly disappointed coz di ako pumayag sumali sa kanila (ang bait ko noh?) & besides, smart ang gamit kong fone. :P at one time gsto ko na tlga magsumbong sa proctor coz i found it so unfair for the others (like me) na honest sa pagsagot sa exams, but i chose not to talk at nde ko nlng sila pinansin. so, ayun. then during the last exam, (biotech, trust me it's a very difficult subject) lumabas sandali ung proctor namin, so as soon as he shut the door, bigla kmeng umingay at nagtanungan na ng mga answers sa test.. mga 1 or 2 answers lng nmn ang nakuha ko sa mga mababait kong classmates :P coz i only had 2 items left unanswered during that time. most of the time sakin parin sila nakakuha ng mga sagot :P

sorry sa napakahabang reply.. :P

filipino classes. high school made me love filipino and filipino classes.

buti ka, you love filipino classes. i always feel sleepy during filipino pero buti na lang i didn't actually fell asleep. that's aside the fact that our filipino teacher was our adviser/ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL. haha.

ANG DI KO MALILIMUTAN NUNG HIGH SCHOOL AKO AY...

...hindi pagtulog every thursday para lang mag-aral para sa isang araw na fully-loaded ng 'nosebleed' quizzes.

...hindi pagtulog para lang tapusin ang thesis (our teacher was pretty makulit, laging may revisions. when we pass our drafts to her, she'd check it for a loooooooooonggg time only to return it without any revision. there were other times na she'd overlook many many mistakes only to tell us na we were wrong after na nang pasahan ng final draft/final defense.)

...CAT trainings! especially in 4th quarter. we had Saturday trainings in preparation for our grad and a lot of people were late kasi everyone was working on their thesis ('cept for our section kasi we're finished with the final draft and waiting for the final defense)

...most of all, my classmates, who i treat as my own brothers and sisters. we've been together much longer than the other students and i miss them so much.

It's too bad that our batch were banned from school, especially those coming from DLSU-M. ERRRRR.

Speaking of surprise quizzes, I'll remember CLE class and our "surprise" quizzes and our pick-the-day quizzes.

-- Edited by Giselle on Thursday 11th of June 2009 06:41:03 AM

me too! CLE! haha. nag-iba kasi bigla ang format ng CLE discussions namin. before, hand-out system kami. in our 4th year, our teacher was a former seminarian and he was on a one-year break (nag-iisip kasi siya nun if he still wanted to be priest or not). in the meanwhile, he decided to teach. CLE classes became 'bloody' kasi it was like taking up an advanced course! parang college in advance. haha. pero what i loved most was the film viewing! and also our GAWARASALs.

@roookie: WAHAHAHA. Ginagawa rin namin yan! Towards the end of the school year, wala na kaming masyadong ginagawa, dalahan na ng laptop!!! =)) Nanunuod lang kami ng kung ano, usually gore. I forgot the title of the movie, basta merong mga hill-billy cannibals. HAHAHA.

There was even this one time we tried to watch Benjamin Button as a batch, nagdala talaga kami ng sarili naming projector, speakers at laptop! [Talo pa namin ung school. HAHA] Kaya lang 15 minutes into the film, nahuli kami at napagalitan kaming lahat. HAHA

P.S. Kaya lang one day, na-raid ng discipline office lahat ng laptops ng seniors, 5 ung nakuha nya from our classroom. HAHAHA [Yes, including mine. HAHA -- Nanunuod kami ng Akai Ito nun. Hay..]

I remember on the last day of grad practice, my class had a surprise "party" for me. That was fun. It was the first time I had school on my birthday. Everyone would greet me "Happy Birthday" from the moment I got to school and so forth, and I wondered how they knew it was my birthday.

Then lo and behold, a surprise during break which they had been planning for weeks apparently.

Haha. I was suddenly reminded of the extreme Prom-asks at school. :))

There was this one senior when I was in ... 2nd year I think. He drove a BMW [not sure anymore :))] inside the school gym during flag ceremony with the hood covered in plastic cover and spray painted it with his "question". :> And then he came out with a huuuge bouquet. HAHA.

wow. oh yeah. prom. it's weird, pero ugali ng school nmin na separated ang junior and senior prom.

sa school lng ang junior prom, sa edsa shangri-la ang senior prom.

I felt kinda sorry for my best friend. he got hospitalized almost a month prior to prom. tapos nka-alis lng cya about a week after the said event. tapos ung picture nmin ng "girl" friend q on stage, nawala sa developing ng prom pics. peachy. haha.

pero senior prom made up for it, kc last 6 songs, na para bang medley dun sa hotel, puro kami lng mgkasama. nagawa pa nmin maki-sing along dun sa mga kanta mncn. lalo kung nde slow dance, nang-aasar kmi ng mga supposed love teams na nakakasalubong nmin sa dance floor. istorbo tlga kmi eh. dang. sana nga sa miriam cya papasok. pra 2loy ang kalokohan nming dalawa. haha.

I miss....

* our uniform! it's real cute and sophisticated ^^
* our group of 'get back girls' who danced half naked in the classroom when mostly everyone's gone out of school and even had a fashion walk right in the corridor XD
* sleepovers and 'graduation parties' which is a safer term for getting all drunk and tipsy and just be wild. And yes, parties and in more than 1 since they can't get enough of it. >

*complaints about teachers, school rules, school activities, almost everything! Haha. xD
* friends who just can't stop talking and forgot about eating that we have to remind her to eat so we aren't late for class
* activities that the teachers would tell us to perform a dance, or a game, or a program when it's only 2 days away
*being scolded by the teachers every single day and some even cried. O.o
*form a small circle automatically when we have private talks
*carefree talks and laughs almost every second! ^^
